The recently concluded 18th edition of the GIHED Property Show in Ahmedabad showcased the city’s thriving real estate market, offering a diverse range of residential, commercial, warehouse, weekend villas, and plotting projects from leading developers. Hosted by CREDAI Ahmedabad, the three-day event at Ganesh Grounds proved to be the biggest property show in Gujarat.

Tejas Joshi, President of CREDAI Ahmedabad, emphasized that the property show served as a comprehensive platform for buyers and investors to gather detailed information about projects across various segments. Financial institutions also participated, adding to the convenience for potential property seekers.

Ahmedabad, as the largest city and economic hub of Gujarat, continues to attract residents from across the country due to abundant livelihood opportunities. Despite the challenges posed by the Covid pandemic, property prices in Ahmedabad have remained relatively stable. Joshi highlighted that Ahmedabad’s property prices are notably lower and more reasonable compared to other metros and large cities.

The city’s growth is further fueled by significant projects such as GIFT City, pharma parks, logistics parks, and the imminent development of Information Technology (IT) parks under the IT Policy. The housing segment is experiencing a steady 10-15% annual growth, particularly among individuals aged 25-45, contributing to the city’s rapid development in various housing categories.

The GIHED Property Show has solidified its position in Ahmedabad, attracting thousands of visitors from the city and nearby areas. The event is not only a local affair but also draws interest from Non-Residential Indians (NRIs) and Non-Residential Gujaratis (NRGs) visiting Ahmedabad.
